About

Project 1356 is an Instagram thing. I missed part 1 and did not want to miss part 2, so I built a site for it, quickly.

I originally did it raw (pure HTML, JS, and CSS). GitHub Pages meant no backend server, so I wired it up to Firebase for storage and auth: my first time using it, picked it because it was free and it slotted straight into a static site.

Later I rewrote the whole thing on SvelteKit, as a training project.

Shame the guy who runs the Instagram account never showed the site to anyone, so it mostly ended up as a personal countdown with a community shape (shoutout to my friends who joined!).
