Svelte is a JavaScript/UI framework similar to React and Vue. However, Svelte is also a compiler, meaning Svelte converts declarative code into JavaScript at build time rather than interpreting application code at run time. In other words, Svelte does not ship a JavaScript runtime (the virtual DOM in React, for example) to the browser to make the code work. Svelte can also be seen as a language for describing reactive user interfaces.
