What is this?
Postal codes in Singapore are described using a system consisting of 6 digits. The first two digits are linked to a sector while the next four represent a delivery point 1 .
Beyond viewing it as destination points of delivery services, it can also provide interesing information on the topography of Singapore. The density of postal codes in a district, for example can indicate the level of development in a particular district.
While it is arguable that most of Singapore is fully developed, having the distribution of postal codes visualized on a geographic map makes it easier to understand the spatial distribution of Singapore.
The goal of this project is thus to provide a simple way for users to appreciate the geographic distribution of postal codes in Singapore, and understand the postal code system.
How do I use it?
npm install .
