This is a dictionary web application that allows users to search for word definitions. 🧙🏻‍♂️

The application is built using svelte & Typescript , and utilizes the Vite bundler and pnpm as the package manager. The application is hosted on Vercel.

Prerequisites

In order to run this project, you will need to have the following installed on your computer:

  • nodejs
  • pnpm | npm

Installation

To install the application, follow these steps:

  1. Clone the repository to your local machine:
git clone https://github.com/Silent-Watcher/svelte-dictionary
  1. Navigate to the project directory in your terminal.
  cd svelte-dictionary
  1. Run pnpm i to install the necessary packages.
  pnpm i

usage

To start the application, run npm run dev -- --open. This will start the application on http://localhost:5173.

  npm run dev -- --open
