Features

This is my current dream website, so I baked in many cool features:

• A blog, based on my current favorite designed blog, overreacted.
• Codeboxes, to display some of my code. Uses Highlight.js and React SyntaxHighlighter.
• Typewriter, one of my favorite typewriter's I've used.
• Cute little hamburger menu, with a nice animation.
• Responsive display, supports desktop, mobile, and tablets.
• Light and dark mode, based on current browser color schemes and themes.

How To Use

To clone and run this application, you'll need Git and Node.js (which comes with npm) installed on your computer. From your command line:

# Clone this repository
$ git clone https://github.com/badpinghere/badping.tech

# Go into the repository
$ cd badping.tech

# Install dependencies
$ npm install

# Run the app
$ vite dev

Note If you're using Linux Bash for Windows, see this guide or use node from the command prompt.

Download

You can download the latest installable version of badping.tech for Windows, macOS and Linux.

To-Do

This is not my completed project, as there are always feature I want to add. Here are my todo features:

• More themes
• Better theme selector
• Different HighlightJS themes for the codeboxes
• Eliminate flickering of themes on page load
