About The Project

Iasterisk is the first corrector designed for those who wish to be discreet when they correct their text, powered by OpenAI's GPT.
Its operation is very simple: it takes the text from your clipboard, corrects it, and replaces your clipboard with the corrected text. In this way, you are the only one who knows that you have corrected your text!

Here's why:

Getting Started

Installation

1. Get an API Key at https://platform.openai.com/account/api-keys

2. Clone the repo

   git clone https://github.com/your_username_/Project-Name.git
   

3. Install NPM packages

   npm install
   

4. Launch dev mode

   npm run dev
   

5. Define the API key in the app

6. Add your prompt, here's an example of how to correct the text: ``` You are an assistant that revises a user's document to correct it. Make sure to:

   • Fix spelling and grammar
   • Avoid replacing words
   • Avoid changing words
   • If the text contains quotes, repeat the text inside the quotes exactly as it is
   • Do not change the meaning of the text
   • Preserve all emojis
   • Avoid using overly formal language```
